The CompEx Ex01-Ex04 Gas and Vapours qualifications have been developed for electrical and instrument technicians working in hazardous locations where gases and vapours can form explosive atmospheres.
You can now retake failed CompEx Ex01-04 practical assessments at GSS Training. Learners who have previously failed to meet the assessment criteria, either at GSS or other providers, can retake within 12 months of the original CompEx Electrical assessment.
The CompEx Foundation
qualification has been designed to provide an introduction into
potentially explosive or flammable
environments where gases, vapours
and dust can form a hazardous
atmosphere.
The CompEx Foundation Plus
qualification, is an alternative to the
CompEx Foundation qualification.
This course covers the same
theory-based learning, but also
includes practical training that
allows candidates to learn the
correct techniques for glanding and
terminating low voltage cables in
hazardous locations.
